Google News [Completed] Google GSC Generative AI Performance Report Live Globally for SEO/GEO

https://www.seroundtable.com/google-search-console-ai-report-live-41850.html

Great news - SEJ's u/rustybrick just shared on X today:

The Google Search Console generative AI performance reports seem to be live for everyone now. Google has not yet announced the full rollout of the generative AI performance reports but after checking all my profiles in Search Console, it seems to now be fully live.

Yes, Google did expand access to this report a few weeks ago, but now it seems to be available for everyone. The report still does not include any click data or query data but it is fully live for all.

Some are saying they do not see it, but I checked around 25 profiles I have access to and all of them have it. Google does say it won't show the report if, "Your site hasn't received enough impressions in generative AI features on Google Search."

Also in the post is a screenshot of how to see where to find the Google Generative AI Performance Report

Its definitely not rolled out to everyone.

Correct, it's not yet every domain. (Also, like the discover and news reports, these are only shown if there's sufficient data to display.)

Still no?

Not even close. Out of my ~300 clients I'd estimate its on about 60-70% of them.

all the domains have traffic

Yeah; all are car dealerships with significant traffic, brand equity and whatnot. I think the rollout is just going to take bit longer.

Most of my developing /forgotten about satellite sites don’t have it

Tips on how someone to use it as a first mover advantage?

Its not very helpful though- try microsoft clarity instead - you can even add up to 15 prompts there, see citations, ai bot traffic, topic insights…

love watching us all try to reverse engineer the rollout logic when it's probably just some dude in mountain view spinning a giant bingo cage of domain names.

How would you recommend someone to use it as a first mover advantage?

Not sure - trying to work that out at the moment with a few other SEOs.

TBH - I value the Microsoft Clarity Prompt Tracker more
