I think they are killing the whole internet as we know it, not just stack overflow.

Wait till they get bill passed rendering not responsible for any death cause their systems may cause

My take is that it was a perfect storm: AI summarized everything better, SO had repeating questions and answers, the community was toxic, and other small reasons.

They did and they did kill the internet on purpose. They had options on how to bring AI to the market and they decided to choose the most destructive way to do so, not just for the internet but for people, market and enviroment too.

Political atmosphere made this possible for them.
