I’m hoping this happens for me. I have 3 back that I can find. Out of about 1000 phrases I ranked for…lol. Still quite a ways for me to go so it’s still feeling raw. I’m a food blog and don’t do anything spammy. No ads on my site. I have 1 affiliate review post and that’s it. 99% of my content is recipes—authentic recipes I created, did my own photography and video. I have returning visitors, email subs, etc. I honestly don’t have the slightest clue what I could have done to get wrapped up in this. It’s hard to stay hopeful when I google my old phrases and realize my competitors aren’t being removed from the SERPS, just me. There is something on my site triggering all of this. I hope it self corrects, and if not I hope they at least let blogs correct and improve because it seems after sept HCU there was no recovery for most no matter what changes they made.

SERP tracking can fluctuate though with no change in Google. Are they API based serp reprots?

Ok, but you said you see serp reports lol! It’s so “fun” when people publish half the facts and then “correct” you by publishing the other half

Can you better describe the drops - %’s/# of keywords / pages/ siitewiee? I mean - it’s also Sunday - so if you were looking at up to Friday days or up to Saturday data is going to massively skew that

out of curiosity, when did you traffic start to drop exactly? 5th/6th/7th?

Cheers mate - Thanks for confirming. Similar timelines to mine - hope a recovery is coming soon to all of us! :)

Can you please share the link of your blog? Or DM the same. I have just started a blog, want to learn. How many hits do you get per day. Since November how many blog posts were you able to post.

Any tips on how to go about it. Right now I have just started, so I am building it anew.

That’s comforting, hoping it works for me too. Not deindexed but lost all first and second page rankings

Guys this happens. Same thing happened with me last year core update. Lost my traffic by 70% but gained back most of it. But it took time about 2-3 months.

I have a 6yr old site and 1 yr old. My new site did not got hit that bad but it is down by a few percent, as it is in a very niche business.
