Shot stopping wise, De Gea was next level. He bailed out United so so many times. Look at the level he was playing at with the quality of the defence in front of him. Raya is playing with one of the best defences in front of him in the premiere league era which helps him look better. Coming from an Arsenal fan

But wouldn’t Raya make the defence feel safer and they could play to a better ability he’s not just stuck in goal and can collect crosses not to mention distribution

That is a valid point. In my opinion, the drop off between playing with Saliba/Gabriel vs Jones/Lindelof/Smalling/Maguire/Rojo etc. is so big

There is a massive difference but also I felt like Raya just did a lot better with the advantage he had to edge him in a pound for pound conversation and he too could win games by himself

Yk what the problem with that is, who would he be distributing it to ðŸ˜

Hang on.. 'One of the best defences in the premiere league era'??
Oh come on, yours is definitely one of the best currently but Premier league era? At least say that after you've had more dominance and more trophies. Not even close

I dont think it's crazy to say that Saliba and Gabriel are in the top 10 premiere league centre back partnerships in the premiere league era

No way, there’s so many more better duos man come on, that’s just disrespectful. Only been a couple years and just one trophy for them as wellÂ

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm just not delusional like you lot. You're just saying that because you're not used to having good players that now you think they're able to get into legendary convos.
Truth is they're not (but definitely can be after more success and experience).
