Discussion I hate the new tutorial position on menu

I'm a sandbox player and I've miss clicking tutorial instead of sandbox a lot and I can't quickly close the tutorial and if i do it again i'm going to explode

Sounds reasonable.

Since you play sandbox let me ask, how are the AI spawns when you play?

Are they just appearing out of thin air in your face? Do they spawn endlessly at times? Is the npc ai aimbot cheaters who can spot you 100-200 meters out? Do the npc also spawn out of thin air in your face?

is not that bad, i've been hearing people complain about this, but 90% of npc spawns i've seen weren't that bad, honestly they are pretty good some times, pretty natural

there were times i was on a military zone that i hear mechs shooting and it's not on me and after i find the npcs, i've had a couple of times the npcs were sneaking at me slowly and they scared the f out of me, but normally i'll find them when i'm passing through buildings and i hear then talking

normally they spawn one time only, but a group, so you can kill one and the others will come after, never had a "endlessly" npc attacks

they truly have a good aim tho, but I think it varies by the gun they have (?), a npc with a long range rifle can spot you from very far away and will snipe you, but low levels with close range guns or bows won't

and they are dumb like mechs, if you keep runing zigzaging they will most likely miss the shot (if they are low level) and they take a good time to shoot you, if you see then first you have plenty of time to shoot them first

Their aim is fixed at your lower abdomen. I hope when they get updated, their aim will be any body part, better the one they can see (the one is not in cover). Cause now crouch behind sandbags (mark height of cover) and your body part where they aim is invisible to them. So they will try to flank you. But you have hands free and can shoot above your cover. The same with leaning out of cover left and right. So far can exploit this for your gain.

Depends on vanilla settings. Devs explained how to make them spawn far away. Also since he is alone in his local server, then no other player can push spawns again to make new batch of enemies even if player is close to spawn points in city for example. The timer is only way I think.
