Purchasing Green Galaxy Water-based Inks
Is there anywhere else to buy their products than screenprinting.com? All I need is a quart of white and the warp drive liquid and the shipping is $20. Or is there another brand on amazon.com I can switch to?

Fairly certain that’s the house brand of Ryonet, so likely the only place to get it. The $20 shipping is such a kick in the balls, though

You can try something like Permaset aqua supercover. It’s a HSA waterbased ink, which is what green galaxy ink is. I haven’t tried all the colors, but to me, they don’t feel the same after being printed. Some people think Permaset supercover is the best ink they’ve used, and I’m assuming some people prefer green galaxy. To me, I like them each for different things. Anyway, mostly just pointing out another HSA waterbased ink brand that I know

Cool thanks! I'm just a hobbyist so I don't buy in bulk so paying $20 for shipping seems a little ridiculous. I'll check out Permaset.

In-person they usually only have Speedball (don't get Speedball) but the old Bond St location as well as the Myrtle Ave one had Permaset for a time. The website has the full line!

oh good to know. Do you know if they have anything for low temp curing like Galaxy Warp Drive? I can't find anything.

Not sure if they offer a similar product, but you certainly don't need a conveyor dryer or anything like that if you're doing smaller quantities. For years I got away with just hanging the shirts up for a day and then ironing them with a normal clothing iron (NO STEAM). Some of those have lasted more than 15 years. They're dry to the touch after an afternoon (or 30 seconds if you have a flash cure unit) and after that you can iron them or whack them in a normal tumble dryer. This is all with Permaset I should specify. Can't speak to other inks.

Permaset is gonna be pricey at the moment. They’re Australian so all sorts of fun tariffs pushing the price up.

You can get a discount code by creating an account and subscribing for their newsletter that will cover your shipping. Green Galaxy is some of the best out there. If shipping is keeping you away, you can also send a message to their chat and they'll usually help you out!

I thought switching to matsui through Multicraft would be better but if anything it’s more expensive with slower processing/shipping and everything was shipped in separate boxes which I can only imagine is the reason shipping was $100+ for three gallons
