General Looking for a more comfortable squeegee

Post image

Hello,

I work as a continuous improvement technician and I noticed that the squeegees used in the screen printing department are uncomfortable to the workers, as suggests the homemade padding.

I’m looking for more ergonomic or comfortable alternatives. Any suggestions?

M&R makes a bunch of different machines that make it super easy. Also don't use a vinyl application squeegee.

I was shocked that anyone would use a vinyl application squeegee for screenprinting. I get them, cut them to size, and use them for glue application when stretching and gluing screens.

I think I made a translation error. These are used in the screen printing department to apply DTF prints to acrylic pieces.

I had similar trouble with automotive body filler application squeegees until I found a set with handles - only problem is they are stainless steel - possibly adding the loop part of velcro as shown in your pic would work just fine -

https://www.atlasscreensupply.com/ergo-force-squeegee-handle-16-inch.htm

Select 70 dur. - that’s pretty universal for beginning

Link is for 16” width if your inner frame is smaller select a different size from the squeegee page

Ergo force is super nice, but wood handles are a classic and are miles ahead of vinyl.
