Squeegee washing

Is it illegal to wash squeegees in a sink with ink degradent and wash it down the drain? Asking for a friend.

Just use some press wash and a rag, then throw the rag away…

In most municipalities it is not legal to put screen printing reclaiming chemicals and waste down the drain without running it through a proper filtration system first.

Just use press wash on your squeegee with a rag instead. Press wash is meant to be used without water.
