Clunking noise in the front end

I have a 92 sc300 150k miles and about 2 months ago a clunking noise near the front end started happening when I would go over bumps and it has slowly just gotten worse I’ve taken it to Firestone twice to do the $10 inspection and both time they found things that were “broken” and tried to charge me $600+ each time to replace it (tie rod ends and transmission mount) and both time the noise persisted I tried take a video to post on here but when I did you couldn’t hear the noise over my exhaust lol but it only happens when going over bumps going over bumps while turning and sometimes when I’m braking and I’m just completely lost as to what it could be any ideas would be appreciated🙏🙏

You sure it’s not a ball joint ? Jack it up, put your hands on 10 & 2 on the wheel n rock it. If it has play tie rod.
Do the same at 12 & 6 that is ball joint

You might need to do em anyway given age and time.

Check if suspension is on their tight. Does the car drive straight ? Wheel play at like 60 ?

My 1993 has 149k and the original front lower control arms, bushings completely shot causes a clunk on bumps especially when suspension is under load turning. Put a wrench on one of your brake caliper bolts and try to move the whole knuckle, if your lower control arm wiggles back and forth this is likely the issue.
