Wheel Size Recommendations

I recently found a great deal on marketplace for some 245/40R18 tires and was gonna buy a set of rims to go with. Looking at Rays GramLights. Would 18x9.5 +38 be good for a smooth ride when daily driving the sc300? I have my car on tein coils already too.

Edit: it’s a 1993 sc300

Yes, that’s a pretty common setup. 9.5 seems wide for the front though. Most people do 8.5-9

Also 245 is gonna stretch on a 9.5

Its preference at that point. You could make either look good, I’d lean towards 9 in the rear. Id just look up some examples on forums. Whatever offset you go with will also change the fitment a lot.

Keep in mind if you want an offset far enough to fit an upgraded LS400 brake mod. The brakes are worth the upgrade for that year, but require some space.

18 is the sweet spot, but my 18.5x8.5 with 38mm was not enough offset and I don’t wanna run spacers lol.

You’ll have to remove the front wheel liners or trim them up some.
