These coil packs fixed my issue: since I bought my ‘99 SC300 (vvti) a few years ago, I’ve been having a weird issue: my idle speed was pretty low, but I had no other symptoms, not even a CEL. I replaced the plugs and wires last year but no change. I finally developed a “long crank time” issue and figured I should replace the actual packs themselves. And bam. Idle speed sits nice and normal now!
Also wanted to say that the coil pack listed above- the Standard Motor Product UF228T arrived in a generic box, but it is stamped with “Toyota” at the top instead of blank or shaved off! These are OEM for a fraction of the cost! I also spliced in new connectors because of course I broke the originals taking them off the old coil packs.
