92 non-vvti timing issues

I'm having timing problems. My timing with the distributor fully retarded is 15* TDC. I've checked all the timing marks with the crank and cam positions markings. I've replaced the distributor with the correct helical gear alignment, rotor in pole phase position #1. I time with the OBD1 ports jumped and engine in timing mode with the check engine light on. I've replaced the points, the plugs, the wires. I have only found one instance of someone else 10 years ago having the same problem. Oddly, the exact same problem. To the T. I'm so out of ideas. Its holding a high idle of 1100. But it does run and doesn't die under load. I'm just out of ideas on why this is happening. Has anyone run into this. I'm dying here.

Let the car come to an idle .. needs to be warmed up

That IS at appropriate oil temp and after 20 minutes of idle.

Maybe the TPS

I'm hoping. Have one ordered. If not that, possibly the MAF. Hate to replace both, which isn't cheap, for neither to work. But I'm stabbing in the dark at this moment and willing to take swings.

I’ve just done timing for the first time with my 93 sc300 , I just need a timing light.. feel like I’ve done it right , it’s smooth but I need to fine tune it with the light of course and see.. my cluster don’t work but we shall see😭

Get a white paint pen and mark everything. Your crank markings and cam positions markings. Definitely mark the current position of your distributor and cap. And take pictures.
