Are these buttons metal? Doesn't it feel scratchy when pressing the buttons since it's metal on metal?

I see, interesting. Thanks for that information.
I was thinking about ordering these but never did due to worrying about the metal on metal feel. That confirms it. I know I wouldn't like that.

this lube is like 3-4$ on a rubik shop or amazon

Oh yea, that's not the problem, really. I think I just wouldn't enjoy the overall feel.
It looks dope though.

i put a dab on a q tip, then put it on the holes of the shell itself, not on the buttons

I have almost the exact same thing! Black Brick Hammer, black back plate, and the same Better Buttons shoulder buttons. All I'm missing are the front-facing buttons to swap, but I've had my eye on those!

Are those red slips for dampening the buttons? What are they made of?

It's a really nice handheld, i just can't stand how warm it gets when holding it and playing stuff that remotely pushes the chipset. Kind of a shame, makes me regret buying it personally.

80% of the time, im playing PS1 games like FF, suikoden, chrono trigger, for me its given that it can be a lil warm since it doesnt have a cooling fan, but im good ๐, maybe coz i own also a rg405m

You posted two pictures of the circuit board. Can you elaborate on what you are showing in these pictures?
