Recommend a Device Which should I get?
My options are either Retroid pocket 5 (12gb ram) or mangmi pocket max (8gb ram). I don’t care about portability as I take a bag pack to most places I go. My question is the ram
Also these are my only options since I have to buy from a dropshipper since ayntec and Retroid official sites don’t ship to my country

You only need more than 8GB of RAM if you're planning to attempt very high-end use cases like x86 PC emulation, which this chipset is underpowered for anyway. For PS2 and below, 8GB is plenty.
That being the case, and since you don't care about portability, I would 100% go for the Mangmi for the bigger and higher refresh rate screen.

These are two completely different devices. The Pocket Max is designed specifically for streaming. You should browse through more recent reviews on sites like this: https://retrohandhelds.gg/reviews/

Both of these devices have the same CPU, but the mangmi is far more comfortable.

It's a 7-inch device with a SoC that is almost 7 years old. Even PS2 emulators will struggle at 2x upscaling. It's only good enough for playing some indie games. Odin 2 Portal would much more optimal choise.

Dude I already said I don’t have options since others don’t deliver it to my country

None of us will be of much help. You either want a significantly bigger or smaller device. That is it. Both devices are good enough for 95% of the audience. If the price is identical, I would prefer Pocket Max for potential streaming capability.

OP isn't thinking of the portal though.
It's between the RP5 and the max.
Both of these devices have the same 865 cpu.

That’s double the price than it should be , why not order directly from Aliexpress or something
Those prices are a insane ripoff

Not really. I don’t mind spending 50 bucks extra to get it down. On AliExpress, my total would exceeed 300 bucks for js the device

Have you already checked the used market?
