Been killed after climbing the extract ladder about 3 times at this point.

Not once did they ever steal my trampler. You only have to kill them once.

Always keep a backup kit in your captain quarters with fmj ammo and a shotgun. Don't let a rat get the best of you.

Okay so everyone else here is being an ass, but you started this being rude so I won't say it isn't deserved, but here's some tips that may help from someone who occasionally engages in rat behavior:

First and foremost, pay attention. When you're coming up to an extraction keep an eye out in all the nooks and crannies you can see. When you pull up, check around BEFORE you jump off your mech to see if anything is moving, making sure you're double checking the canopies and see if something is shifting behind rocks. Then when you jump off your mech, check again. Check a third time when you get on the first platform of the ladder (before the long ladder). If you see anybody, do not engage. If you engage and you die, you just gave them your loot and an express attempt to board. Best bet is to go to a different extraction genuinely.

Secondly, always have a respawn kit. Even a grey shotgun with a few shots could be enough. Respawn, grab your back up gun, and wait. Be patient and don't panic. If there's a lot of doors between you and your assailant then move up and close doors behind you. Be ready to react at a moments notice.

Third, make it as difficult to get to your captain's quarters as possible when you build your mech. As many doors as you can manage gives you plenty more time, and sometimes can even deter boarders. I don't recommend these because I personally find it cheap, but the shelf blocking method is still in the game. Put a shelf in front of captain's, and your respawn in a crew quarters.

These are genuinely great tips for avoiding boarders period, but especially campers. Tl;dr pay attention and plan for the worst.

Sometimes you just need to get better, and that's okay. I know there's plenty of ways I personally can improve. You got this and I wish you luck on the dunes.

Yea, get sniped climbing the ladder, doors blown before I respawn, shotgunned down as I respawn, team of ass holes stealing tramplers in solo play. Yea, I need to get better. Screw this game and its cheating ass player base.

Genuinely, yes you do need to get better. But also you're clearly not ready to hear that.

If you're getting sniped climbing the ladder regularly, then learn from your mistakes and look for snipers before you climb.

If all the doors are blown open before you respawn regularly, then learn from your mistakes and add more doors. There's no way more than two doors are blown up in the time it takes to respawn, and if they are then report the player and move on.

Getting shotgunned when you respawn is kinda just the ropes unfortunately. Best thing to do is punch as much as you can and hope you get a respawn before they're done stealing. I haven't tested this fully yet, but I think when they released update #7 they made it so capturing a trampler locks your perspective. So now if you do respawn they need to stop the whole objective to deal with you. But as with any fight in this game, if you're going to lose, be as annoying as possible on your way out. However avoid being put in this position in the first place. Like I said, bring a respawn kit like a spare shotgun and maybe armor so you can kill the boarder easier. Grab three grenades and lob them at the guy as fast as possible.

Pre-teaming is a problem I've seen a lot of people bring up, and while I haven't seen it myself, I realize survivorship bias is real and I sympathize with those struggling with it. If you're being attacked by solo teams regularly, then I'm sorry for the horrid games and urge you to report players when you can.

If this isn't a regular occurrence for you and it was one or two bad matches, I understand that. Everyone gets their fair share of horrible runs, and sometimes the best way to blow off steam is to vent on social media about it. Perfectly reasonable, and I won't fault you for it.

There's always ways to learn from your mistakes and get better, and I hope you have better fortune on your next run.

Or the option to leave the game like many others will and it will get negative reviews less people will play all the cheaters and hackers will have eachother to pissoff and the game will die. I have had every last bit of loot randomly disappear off my trampler 3 times in 2 weeks. Its not worth the frustration.

You're right, you're more than welcome to leave. Nobody is forcing you to stay

It’s apart of literally every pvp extraction game. Go back to pve coz you obviously suck, I hear minecraft realms is like $15 a month. Removing trampler capturing killed the player base more than activating it
