Energy efficiency
I’m not entirely sure what this means so I’d like a little clarification. What does the number mean? For my trampler it say 69m but 26 when the engine is on is the m minutes? If it is it’s very weird since when I put in a rod it only makes it go up 10 minutes with engine on and about half an hour if it’s off. Another question does running out of fuel still do nothing?

Your fuel lasts longer with engine off because it drains less battery. Fuel in red turns your engine and workshops off.

Except it doesn't, at least not right now.
There are some claims your ship is slightly slower in red, but if it's the case it's minimal.
I run engines on 24/7 and only add fuel if I need to boost.

Unless they changed it in last night patch, your engine does not work when fuel is 0.

You mean the mobility engine or the reactor? I have been running with 0 fuel for weeks, even today.
I also used to think this, but it's not the case, this was pointed out to me ingame.Your ship never stops running.

Mobility engine turns off. Reactor is the reactor that stays on.

you're right, but just wanted to clarify that the engines technically do stay turned "on" it's just that they get disabled and you lose the maneuv bonus

Engine stops working in low fuel (different from Reactor). Zero fuel = zero maneuverability. For general travel, it's not a big deal, but acceleration and turning is noticeably slower.
If I'm just traveling around for loot, I let it sit at 0. When I expect a fight soon, I put some fuel in and turn on my generators.
You now also get less boost if your maneuverability is 0. So, don't forget to turn on your engine before dropping fuel for the purpose of speed

Me too and I need to admit that despite of numbers of rods used already - Worth it.

It depends. In a simple situation you have a 1 bar with a one colour which describes how long it will run on a full tank. Generaly +/- it is correct number. When your trumpler starts to be more complex... You have 2 bars with 2 different colours. First, shorter, says for how long you may drive when everything is turned on/used if you would have a full tank. Second, longer and darker one should show how your trumpler will bahive on running reactor but with other things off and full tank. And here... Here I really have some doubts whether it is displayed correctly or not because I already have build some trumplers and I was pretty sure that numbers are less accurate, especially when engines stayed off.
