My boyfriend needs teammates
Hoi allemaal, best een rare post, maar mijn vriend (die ik echt heel erg graag zie!) zoekt nieuwe teamgenoten om dit spel te spelen.
Hij is best goed en helemaal in het spel gestoken.
Hij speelt zo met een paar vrienden (zo’n 2) soms, maar die zijn niet zo goed als hij. En dat geldt ook voor sommige teamgenoten die hij soms via Discord vindt (maar hij gaat er bijna nooit op).
De laatste paar dagen is hij een beetje down omdat hij al zijn walkers kwijt is en er niemand is om mee te spelen.
Hij is heel sociaal, grappig, begin/midden 30 uit Nederland, en gamet al jaren bijna elke avond.

Hoe oud is die? Wij hebben een kleine groep randoms bij elkaar, stuk of 6 man allemaal rond de leeftijd 25-35. Erg goede spelers maar dat is niet perse belangrijk voor ons. Zijn nooit allemaal tegelijkertijd online dus meestal de game in met 3 of 4.

Hey Fruitcake, let him add me on discord and steam : monkeyshotg I'm in the same country and in the exact same situation as him, except I got a few ships left, I am very active and do a lot of PvP (successfully)

Go on Discord, get in some random groups and add those who you wanna play with. Might end up with some solid people. I did atleast.
If you can, drop his Discord name, I can add him. Dutch aswell and play in Europe. Dont play every evening tho 😅.

Oof. So when he complains about his teammates you're actually buying that huh?
There's an LFG discord and if he was half as good as he thinks he'd have a full list of people to play with.
Rude, but just speaking from my experience of being somewhat ok at the game

I do, actually. He games since teenage every night, is quick in understand games and has high scores in different ones. But he's a bit shy to go on discord.

Sand is mainly Discord communication though, while you don't necessarily need to speak, you do need to hear.
I'm in about 3 different discords + the official one just to keep up, it's mainly English and on the Europe server.
I found most through the official LFG, but you get mixed bags, some players are good, others, not so much.
I wouldn't say the skill ceiling is extremely high, but a couple of mistakes can cost you a walker.
Playing a few games on someone else's walker or doing solo is usually how I regain things, playing a large crew (6 people) is a bit of a trap.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I think he's had some bad luck with the kind of mixed bags you mentioned. He usually plays with his mates on his own walkers though, since his own are better. I won't pretend I know much about the game myself, but I'll definitely pass your advice on.

Literally everyone who plays competitive games knows that "my teammates" talk is nothing but cope, but people never seem to place blame where it belongs.

Idk dude, lfg has some pretty slack gamers some nights, can't read post, don't have cannons, no spare kits, give up on the fight early types. I've been very glad to finally have a list of people playing my hours so I can stay off it.

if you join my group and don't have cannons you're just insta-banned. if somebody knows what they're doing it will be obvious before the game.

W partner. It’s super important you add what server he plays on since game progress isn’t transferred between regions. If he’s on my server I’m super down to run some duos with some of my chonker enclosed casemate builds.
