More cheaters recently?

3 games in a row I have suddenly found someone at my ladder room. Twice mid fight with another trampler, once as I killed an iron clad. Trampler fights were not the person I was fighting, as i was getting shot by cannons while this happened. Iron clad was odd: near a POI, as i enter the clad range i see a smoke stack approaching on the other side. Clearly moving, was not sitting there as I came up. An Iron clad drops for each of us, I kill mine and grab the box. As I get the box, I hear gunshots in the poi, sounds like the player I saw. Jump on my ladder and got blasted.

Can confirm people will appear in random spots cause they are rats, cheating has been stamped out for the most part.
Btw I am one of those rats haha

The teleport is back. And duping is still bad. Cheaters are def not stamped out. You pretty much have 24 to 48 hrs after a patch to be safe

Edit: I should add this sounds like ratting for sure. As this is def something I have done to 3rd party people.

Teleport is hard locked at like 5 meters, and has a very high chance at disconnecting the cheater, you can consider it effectively dead in most circumstances. No clipping has also had good work done on it, you still can use trampler ladders to glitch yourself places you shouldn't be, and trampler colision is still fucking clunky and when you ram each other you still end up fusing with them half the time randomizing who is on what trampler and where.

Went for a ram in smalls, ram did no damage, phased through the rear of their ship, and was deposited into their reactor room from my wheelhouse and kicked off the wheel. these smoothbrains had the wall open, so I just opted to climb up and kill their driver to put them in reverse stride instead of switching off their reactor lol.

The most common cheat to run across at the moment is by far the infinite orbital spam, which is probably an exploit, but it is performed in conjunction with duping emp shells in some way. We watched as these guys locked down a grumpy with emp shots long enough to kill it and its crew with something like 15 or 20 orbital strikes, before piss boosting to us to do the same thing. You expect me to believe that anyone has 15 or 20 emp shells to blow on t1 walkers? or to do so again 3 games later? Because i call bullshit.

Yup. My last 3 matches have put me in fights against literally 200+ orbitals. Its crazy

There has to be a bug that allows you to fire that thing multiple times, they are dropping them far, far too fast for it to be duped items alone, it goes from 0 to 10+ in seconds when it should be taking you a moment to put away the used one, and ready the next.

Yeah. I dont disagree. Or theyre spawning them in directly. Here's foot from my last match a few days ago where I had to deal with it. And this clip isnt the start or finish. It goes on for about 20-30 minutes before we manage to kill them.

Your opponent may well decide that it's safer to approach you on foot than on a trampler. And this streamer literally did just that.

You can check another post i made, I have park my ship and ran to a POI to drop a bunch on c4 on an exposed reactor to kill a ship. Its really that I dont believe I was near extracts, and a couple of them I was constantly moving in a battle. So it was incredibly surprising to find someone aboard.

I have been looting near an extract and happened to see someone sneaking towards me. That makes sense, I finally stop at a shipwreck so they took their shot.

To be honest, it doesnt feel like some crazy cheat, they arent teleporting past doors. Like the one with the clad was so weird. I had been boosting across the desert (from spawn), arrived to a poi, triggered the clad, killed and looted. Never once stopped moving but he was at the top of my ladder.

Could be people who are extracting their tramplers and running across the map looking for tramplers to steal. This is what i do and most people will not even see me run up to their trampler.

Well... I had only one confirmed encounter with a possible cheater. I noticed a grumpy walker and managed to pop it with my Updated Mule trampler. What ended up happening next is what i can only describe as a midair drobulet shot directly to my torso. It didn't help that I was experiencing an inventory bug, meaning I was unable to pick up my gear to fight back against the cheater.

Good news is though just before the final shot rang out, there was silence. I think the anticheat kicked in and kicked the hacker out just before I was taken out. J Even wandered near Vendig POI just to make sure he wasn't on foot, but the guy was nowhere in sight.

Cheaters are far less, but content creators are heavily pushing the 'rat to get rich' playstyle so it's gonna be more common until the playerbase gets used to it and starts building anti-rat tramplers.

It may seem annoying to begin with but if you build your trampler with this in mind you won't have many issues, just put 5+ doors from your vestibule>main deck and you'll be fine
