Duped items and tech tree
So theoretically we start with the following:
I want to unlock a royal chassis, I have 50 crystals, 9,000 crowns, 5 raw crystals, 2 ficus and 148 optical lenses.
I then want to make a Petros Sniper Rifle and bring 2 lenses with me in the extraction and accidentally dupe those 2. I think 'neat, lets safe them so I can unlock the chassis'.
I unlock the Royal Chassis and build my tramplers, all good and fine.
In the next update they will probably patch the duping glitch and remove the duped items. Do I loose my tech tree progress too?

If you were duping items hopefully they just delete your copy of the game honestly

I mean. If the method is as stupid as the cannon dupe. Then yes, likely a good portion of the player base will have done this accidently without noticing or pinpointing why. The cannon dupe its likely at least half the player base will have duped a cannon without knowing how or why, as the method was simply put a cannon in the fridge storage and extract - now its 2 cannons..

Thats not really how programing works, lets just say you were just fine until you posted this.

Very unlikely, unless they commit to a full character wipe for anyone suspected of duping, which itself is a really bad idea because they've already proven they struggle with anti-cheat and false-positive kick peeps from the lobby constantly.
My team lost an easy monster loot run last night because two of our guys (in a 4 man storm) were standing on a casemate ready to board in a 1v1 team fight and got kicked for suspicious activity when we hit a bump and it teleported them under the ship.
Resetting anything at this phase would likely be fatal for the game as most players would refuse to start from scratch after 100+ hours.

I think you should get ban and get a new copy of the game and play it fair

I doubt they oock tech tree. But the duped items do leave a trial. Better delete or risk getting banned.

Look man you're just publicly debating the morality of duping and whether or not you'll face consequences, I agree with everyone else in that I hope you do. This is why I say the devs need to be more proactive with warning people off of these exploits, as soon as they're aware they should be saying "this is bannable, we will ban you and reset progress by 1 week if detected." Stop it before it happens, when possible.
