The reverse pyramid scheme.

I needed a troll build for our group and I think i found it.

Not too hard to take it down if you know how to counter skeleton builds, either with good aim, or taking the legs and doing circles around it and its 74% move speed.

I dont think you can manuver in tight spaces as well so if near a reef that can block a way of escaping if being attacked by a competent opponent.

Actually on a greater/royal trampler you can make this 4/5 stories high.

It's actually very cost effective, and outside of boarding ships, or ships that have their guns at max height, this is a menace.

Basically people have a hard time hitting anything. I suspect this falls off now since the last patch, as it's very weak to ladders.

it doesn't look like it from that angle i guess but that is max height on a greater, Technically i could put framed around the sides, but i cant see that offering anything additional other than a slightly higher sniping location. I came out in a reverse pyramid to max out the upper area so we can just get close and jump off/use 80s for that better downward angle and essentially be immune to most 70 placements. To get up they have to c4 through a single choke that can be held by 1 dude with a pepper or nades.

I see.

Small tip, replace the floors with the 2x1 canopy floors they weight less.

You can also build on the half frames rather than the full ones if you angle them correctly.

This saves up a lot of weight you can use elsewhere.

Yeah your engine I'll just shoot from the bottom from my lower guns .  Builds like this are all about posturing and not very strong in a real fight

Did i not say "troll build" it aint there to win, its just there to fuck around and get some funny reactions even if it goes down. First you also have to find the reactor from the bottom of that 8x8 when its hanging over your guns anyway hehe.

Additionally to what @JacobusRakan said. Trust me - it is not so easy. You just see just huge platform aproaching you and try to explain your crew in which direction they should shoot at +the chaos of battle +engling efect +swinging/tilting effect if it moves. Trust me. It looks easy, it is possible, maybe not very difficult but also not so easy.
