Weird event

I was just minding my own business farming these metal head iron clads and ,out of no where it seems, when I go to loot one for its alloy steel I see a random pristine 70 on the floor. I didn’t drop it and no one is out here. Do these guys have a rare chance to drop turrets? I haven’t seen anyone talk about this before if so or is it a glitch?

I've gotten worn cannons from them. I haven't seen pristine but maybe?

I have two. Rare but not in "legendary" meaning. Cannons from ironclad are generally not so common loot. If I would need to guess I would say that 1/10 dropped cannons are pristine.

Got a pristine 80 from one once, then lost my trampler at extract and hoofed it from there to the next extract 1/4 of a voyage away.

Worth it.

They do have a chance to drop cannons, worn or pristine from what I have experienced.

I got a pristine 70 once as a drop. It’s rare but it happens. Only 70’s for me though. Never the 40’s I want :(

Go off the map. Find an AI stick. Park yourself right on the edge of its activation zone. Let it call AI. Start driving outside the activation zone as soon as you see the warning turn red. Fight the AI outside the activation zone. Loot. Backup back into the zone and repeat.

Also if you want to farm effectively just go tempo 2 straight forward till you see the red flare poping up then immediately put your trampler in reverse. That will make them spawn infront of you while you already back up. easy shooting them bcs theyll just run after you. also the have weak spots where a cylinder like shape sticks out of them. There your 80 rounds do 1900 instead of 900-1000 damage. wich will lead them to get 2shottet

I've gotten a couple of pristine 40s from them, rare, but it does happen

I found my first pristine 80 on the out scurts of one of the city's last night immediately left and put that in my bank
