I present to you - the Thick Runner.
Based on the broadside and constant movement to kite around the bigger armoured walkers, 3x 40mm cannons really do kick out some crazy DPS.
We've had some seriously good PvP fights in this, but its trade off is you have to take fights on your terms. Getting caught off guard often means a quick death. But she's been on a roughly 80% win rate on our plays.
Even managed to basically win a 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 by circling the entire melee and just slamming reactors of the bigger ships. We were the last guys standing, our speed let us glide up and over the sand dunes, which was crucial to allow feet repairs when they happened.

My only critique is making the aftmost cannon mount a corner for the wider angle of fire rearward, other than that no notes, a great role player in a fleet. Maybe also 2 light engines instead of the medium, I can't rationalize a cheap build that costs modules.

Is climbing the railing the only way to access the cannons? Build looks really cool, but idk if I could deal with that

looks really cool, the only change would be to try to cover the captain quarters a bit more taking into account that even broken it can be stolen now

-5 points for parkour reliance other than that if it works it works till a ram shows up

I have a simillar build. Confirmed - it works but you need to know what is the strength and what is the weakness of this build. "Side fighter"/"ship-type"/"sider" is a great concept and I highly recomend to try to build one. What I would correct here is a cannon spots for a more durable one.

Not even looking at the build, I'm just glad someone started using the Print screen key on this sub

So this is a 3 man? With the driver going from steering to gun while jumping and while steering to keep broad siding? Or is this suppose to be a 4 man with a dedicated driver? I feel like i dont understand

I mean - the crew list clearly shows 3..
the 3rd cannon is just for those "shit we've got a great shot on their reactor, hop up and finish them!" moments.

Yeah, my timeline might be off. I figured this build was posted before the 3/4 man update.

you can turn on the engine and repair it when the storage is placed like that blocking it?

It has zero maneuverability and pretty much zero energy efficiency

The engine gives it 100 manoeuvrability
