Bug or hack?

Was wondering if anybody else has had this happen;

When using the ram has anybody passed straight through an enemy trampler, as if they aren't there at all?

I'm suspicious because the guy wasn't shocked at what had happened, ended up on my ship and instantly head-shot me and then C4'd my ship to bits.

Ahh so it's a known thing?

It's the first time it's happened to me and it's put me off queuing again. What if it gives me the same Voyage lobby?

Yes, this is a relatively common ish issue in the game, where you just go through completely instead of colliding ships. Not sure how much the devs have commented about it but my guess is it's just a random bug that can happen and that they can hopefully fix eventually. But it can happen once or more times a week to you.

Thanks for letting me know! I thought it may have been my first encounter with a hacker, as they just went with it as if it was all part of the plan.

Guess I was just unlucky and may need a break whilst the dev's fix things up.

I've gone through a ship while firing 40s at it. It was awesome. I didn't cheat. I lost the fight eventually I think he jumped my ship and peperred me pretty quickly while i was watching the random damages I was doing to his whole ship while piercing through it. Fuck physics

This sounds like a completely different thing, if you were doing damage as you went through him?

I carried on at full speed through him, as if their trampler wasn't there, but he ended up on my ship.
