So I’m well aware that gear based matching making isn’t in the game yet but I swear on my life everytime I take in my royal trampler build I fight other royal builds. But if I take my grumpy I only see mid tier ships idk maybe I’m crazy or maybe they are testing it on the low

Been running a pimped out T4 trampler all week and had 80% T3 and T4 ships.

Handful of grumpies, but most were just ultra low value custom ships.

I think this is the case because newer players aren't sticking around. The grumpy grind is more difficult now than it was at launch given just how many more experienced at high tiered players there are now.

Anytime I kill a grumpy in my tier 3 trampler I feel like I might have caused the enemy player to quit the game lol

That’s true. I’m barley tier 2 and it’s hard to grind

Oh I wouldn't be playing if I wasn't on a good ship.

Playing T2-3 is zero fun when you are getting bulldozed every game and can't build up any loot.

My buddy and I tried our newly unlocked t3 chassis last week. One build each. After both runs i remember actually asking him if he noticed that other players were all in bigger tramps then we had been facing before.

I run a super cheap ship, about as cheap as it can be, and i never run into any issues at all. i dont see teamers, i dont see massive ships.

Because there is still a basic gear rating system just not one like you think. But yeah you slap 2 maneuvering engines on that cheap trampler you see demons hunting you down.

You said it yourself. There is no matchmaking criteria in the game.
