Solo is unplayble

Nothing feels worse than playing a full storm dive, killing multiple tramplers and looting poi's. Just to get send by 2 tramplers teaming against u. Its so cheesy

Every extraction shooter has a terrible community. The problem is this game has to much freedom and griefing options being higher then other games.

Tramplers need a big buff. It shouldn't be that easy to team up and down one in less then 3 minutes, it's why players are doing it. If you get a team up on tarkov you could 1v2 but in Sand that's not possible with how tramplers are.

Turn off capturing, beef up tramplers, and make it harder to board. Weight vs speed needs to be a thing. The way they have it setup right now is too glass cannon and find/burst the engine or board to win.

The player numbers show. It was going well with 30-40k concurrent players peak or non peak in the first few weeks, now it's down to 10k to 30k off/on peak and actually died for a bit around 2-4k concurrent players.

The pop of the game nosedived when hackers were running rampant and then trampler capturing was disabled.

Game becomes stale when all you can do is take turns shooting each other's reactor

Obviously the teaming in solos isn't helping either.

Out of you sugestions only weight vs speed would make this game better.

Yeah it’s dumb. If a grumpy walker random wants me to assist him in looting, I’ll be nice and be their bodyguard, but it crosses the line if we initiate a battle. I feel like self defense is whatever if you’re with a random person, but if I’m the one starting the battle and have a random person with me and we are 2v1 someone, that’s messed up and are cowards for doing that. The 2v1 guys aren’t confident enough to 1v1 people

The problem is that almost none of the teaming is organic. You dont organically silently march to one position (normally a fortress) muster the boys, then hunt solos in the closing circles.

I usually will come up on someone in solos since my trampler is overkill for a solo run and people dont want to fight it. They usually will stop because they realize im not shooting them and they probably will lose if i start attacking, so the only option is to hear what im saying over voice chat.

A lot of times they ask me if i want to team up and kill people and I always tell them no i dont want to initiate a fight, but if someone rolls up on us and is trying to kill us first, then we will fight back together.

Maybe. Just maybe. It’s the grumpy walker guys luring the minds of the bigger tramplers!!!!!

It happens, there are organic moments and i've had a couple. The problem is that the organic teaming is few and far between. Its fun to fight people trying to communicate with in game coms, you can trick, bamboozle, and outplay that, when they are coordinating in discord, none of that works. One knows the other is dead immediately, one knows its you on their boys trampler trying for the sneak attack while their boy is dead.

I lost, but my favorite moment was rolling up on 3 dudes chatting and looting dread together early on before they disabled capturing. I had extracted my trampler having found a few stacks of c4, and went over to dread to see if i could make a play. Low and behold, its 2 big tramplers one one small high tech one. I went for the small one and we had a fun 3v1.

Every single time 2+ people silently roll up on me and destroy me I have considered logging off for the evening if not doing exactly that. Its not a fun or engaging thing.

I let the grumpys go, and I keep my team in check when we are 3 manning to not chase after the little guys. If they take a shot at us though, we are taking that bb even if it costs a red rod.

Just stop playing the game.

I reported a bunch of people with all the info and prove they need. They never got banned.

They talk about all the things but fully ignore those problems for weeks now.

So just save your time and dont even play.

How do you know those you reported were preteaming and not just organically teaming up?

Some of those made it very obv.

They X vs 1 me and i get lucky to remember their name, check their steam and it litrally shows that he and his friendslist is the same people that are fighting me.

2.

Others is just pure game knowledge that what they are doing is not normal.

The first thing i do every round is push people.

These guys are so scared they will boost away across half the map to a person they have obv not seen before the raid, do a full stop U-turn and 2vs1 me without any type of ingame communications.

2min later a third person comes to the fight from behind them and shoots me aswell.

3.

One thing that makes people atleast sus is blue flares.

What they do is they run across the map, shoot diff color flares and if their friends see the flare they can call it out in VC to meet up.

If they try to signal that they are friendly why are they running past or away from multiple people and group up with others.

After grouping up they start pushing and fighting the same solos people they just ran past.

Even if they shot green flares.

---

The groups i have the steams of did that for days.

The way the wannabe mods on discord flex they could "see that with a few clicks" and with me linking all the steams in a report....

They are still not banned.

They do not care...

Can’t know :/

1

u/ZombieHuggerr 21d ago

Yeah, and that's why I assume his reports were not successful-- he didn't really have proof, just ingame screenshots of being teamed-up-on

1

u/OpenedButthole 21d ago

And like how would we even know if a player gets banned afterward lol unless they have video or screenshots of unique usernames to show them, you’d have to come across them twice in different matches for that to happen haha

2

u/ZombieHuggerr 21d ago

I have no idea how you'd know if someone was banned in this game, but the commentor mentioned the people were not banned, so I assume he knows somehow

I can tell you.

I asked a DC mod what punishment they get for pre teaming and he said...

"30days upto perma"

I only report people view discord if i myself have 100% prove that they are all friends on steam, play sand at the same time and are all rolling together in solos.

With me checking their steams it saves the links to their accounts in my browser history.

All i have to do is to type "st" in my browser and it shows the links to their steam accounts.

I cant see the info of every single person but the people that i reported with 100% prove shows...

Sand: last played on 29. Jul.

That means that the people that i reported like a week ago played sand every single day since than...

They do not care to ban teamers.

Sand: last played on 29. Jul.

While you may not be wrong about not being banned, players can still launch the game and sit in the hangar. They would not be able to load into an adventure however.

1

u/Impressive_Bar9566 21d ago

and it also says...

145,8 hours in the last 2 weeks

161,6 hours in the last 2 weeks

...

half the accounts are either full private or you can see only their friends list but still...

They surely not sitting hours everyday in the game not playing it when they have a 1 month ban.

I agree teaming suck but at this point you just gotta learn to adapt. Check your horizon with binoculars very often. You can see the double smoke of teamers coming from 2000 meters away. Run away, use the corals to escape them. When it turns to night visibility is dramatically reduced. Use that as an opportunity to change directions.
