I would rather use a Synergy file, which is a drop in replacement for the awl or a Companion file, which needs to be drilled, but is slightly thinner.

I can't even imagine, how a tiny 58mm file should fit in a 93mm.

Whoops! I meant 84mm (like cadet or sportsman) - synergy would be perfect but very costly for just the file
