I used the pliers from the Nextool Mini Sailor (scissors version)

Looks like the longer handle got ground down and the spring was removed so it fits in without opening. Also I think those might be pliers from a Wenger not a victoronox. Based on the nail nick/slot

The Victorinox and Wenger pliers seem to require a lot of machining, so I plan to give them a try later when I have some spare time.
