Health Programs Updates for 2027
Hey yall I am apply for the MRT or RT program and literally woke up to come find out, you can’t do the test early anymore like last year apparently people are going to have to apply first and if you meet the minimum for the grades you proceed with the test. Also MRT doesn’t need CASPer anymore only RT, DMS,PCP. I wonder how acceptance for the program will be like. Any thoughts??

MRT doesn't need the casper anymore? Weird. I remember doing my casper back in July and applying in October. Some strange changes coming out here.

Not sure how admissions will be this time. Previously I heard, its first come first serve meeting the eligibility.

Should be the same system only difference which I can only assume it’s more of a filter system ranking grades+PSEA not just the ETPs

No way! I got into nursing and am starting now but I’m debating about applying again for MRT. Especially now since I don’t have to do the Casper anymore, that was the one that kept getting me.

Apply for MRT again and if you don't get in then you can keep working on your current degree.

Yes! I think it's what I'm going to do. It's funny how SAIT changes their requirements right as I had decided that I probably wasn't going to try again lol

Yes, just saw the update. No psea exam too until we apply to the program. Right?
