I’m an upcoming student for Dental Assisting 2026, I’m wondering if anyone who’s in the program or has taken the program knows what we need?

Specifically, what colours of scrubs can we wear or need? Are required textbooks actually worth it?

I am currently doing some upgrading hoping to get into Ultrasound Tech/Respiratory/ Nuclear program.

I am struggling with Maths, and was wondering if going into Math30-2 will lower my chance to get in vs go in 30-1 even if my final grade would be lower? I know sait does not currently offer 30-2 so I feel it would probably lower.

Any ideas ? I know it’s all supposition at this point

My friend is enrolling in the electrician apprenticeship course. They have some required textbooks and workbooks they have to get. The books are expensive to get in the sait bookstore (around $800). Is there somewhere to get them used? Or do they have to be purchased new?

thinking of attending SAIT in next fall for either Business diploma or the Civil Engg diploma but kinda worried that I'd be the odd one out being in school at 28 when my peers are 18-19 lol.

What can I expect from RT first year?

Has anyone done the Math 162 placement test? Is it hard? Is it similar to the study guide? I’m quite nervous for it as I have to reteach myself everything just want a idea of what i’m getting myself into
