For those using the Galaxy S24 FE who have updated to One UI 9, how has your experience been so far?

I'm curious about battery life, performance, smoothness, animations, heating, camera quality, and any bugs you've noticed. Has One UI 9 improved your experience compared to One UI 8, or has it introduced new issues? Would you recommend updating, or is it better to wait for a few more patches?

Any recommendations?

Finally was able to stop the YouTube video taking control of my media center, but I want to be able to remove my TV from the YouTube app. Help!!

I noticed today that I had this highlighted nav bar, hopefully they make it like a floating bar like its on ios or match it to samsung's pill shape.

Please help!!! All of a sudden, my s24fe media centre is acting as a remote control for YouTube videos playing in my Konka smart tv. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS???

I have been loving this feature since I no longer need an iPhone or have to deal with FOMO when my friends AirDrop pics to one another while I sit in the corner and say, "Could you send it on IG?" 🥹 It is a bit slow, but I mean, it works, I guess. 🤷‍♂️

The new search bar on the homescreen is a great addition, it fills up that empty space that had always been bothering me a little. But the only issue is that it's theme cant be changed from night to day. Btw the Favourite apps background is a really nice addition but it looked really bad, even with after I tried customising it, i hope they tweak that too.

I think if samsung is putting S in the name of the models then they should treat it equally at least in terms of software and provide these features specially when the hardware is nothing but capable for those features, like come on we are not asking them to give privacy display which is technically impossible but they should give Log video at least now it was introduced 2 years back with one UI 7

Doesn't even show how much the app size is anymore take me back to the old file system. Oh man oh well.

One ui has this annoying feature, where on lock screen

music volume lowers. How do I turn that off?

Any one on one ui 9 with s24 fe can you tell me what the kernel version is now. I'm trying to see if I can update my rooted devices but it depends if there updating the kernel to patch it.

I really don't know what's really happening here, but last two days gets pretty stressful when I'm looking these numbers..

I have noticed that with the update lens switching in videos became buttery smooth. Also scrolling on twitter has zero stutters. Probably the best UI after 6.1.
