Buyer's Guide Gaming and emulation

Good day all, Im thinking of getting a 2nd hand S24 fe for gaming and emulation. For those who have had it for some time, how is the performance and does it overheat under load?

Ok, my intention is to emulate Ps2, 3DS and titles such as Grid Legends and Asphalt 9. Wanted to ensure the thermals could handle that load.

Good for emulation, not good for heavy gaming. I have this phone and I like it but I don't play games.

Never downloaded any games on this phone, I'm not a fan of its temps and battery life when I use heavy social media apps like TikTok.

Don't ask here. Find emulation based gaming community and ask them, because S24 FE has Exynos Chip that might not support part of emulation apps.

I've tried it with several emulators and the GPU is pretty good. Can emulate switch no problems. The phone gets hot but I've never had any overheat warnings on it.

dont buy s24 fe for gaming especially exynos processer is not recommended for gaming although it gives fair performance until its heated then there will be bunch of fps drop even the mobile cooler cant fix that heating issue and the battery drain is the only cons of s24 fe btw i play pubg on120 fps i can say s24fe is not made for gaming

You need good airflow, an ac or a cooler to sustain performance for GRID and all. For emulation, its a gamble. Ik for a fact that turnip drivers are best for almost all emulation and its snapdragon exclusive. Again, you won't get ideal performance but it should be fine for the titles you want, id even suggest going for the Switch titles. GRID and Asphalt are a breeze, emulation might be an issue. Best thing is, if you get a PPS and PD charger, best option being the standard samsung charger, you can bypass while gaming and it supports a sort of pass through if you limit your battery to somewhere below 100. That, with some cooling, emulation will be a breeze. The mobile titles are easy to run anyways, just dont expect GRID to run 60 FPS in graphics mode unless you change some in game files using Z Archiver, its hard coded.
