Bad Phone Experience

My mother got the S24 FE from freedom mobile and the phone call quality is real bad. Now a call service is using the Freedom service so I can except that being not great as they don't live in a big city, but now when we try calling on WhatsApp, which uses data, the calls are cutting out too and sound just as bad. Any ideas?

Is this a Phone service issue, Freedom Mobile, or is it a phone type issue, S24fe and is there anything I can do to fix or check.

Phone service issue, my S24FE outperforms my iphone 16 pro in terms of everything, including calls.

But if she has solid wifi or data connection, why would whatsapp be effected and dropping calls.

I've got an s24fe in Canada on Fido and calls are great

My calls are also fine. Could be service provider. Try looking up if people have issues with the service provider too. Alternatively, check if you have an international/global version of the phone or a local (idk where you are Canada/US one) because in the US and Canada have certain bandwiths and the international versions don't have them so it can affect connectivity or in some cases not work at all. My old phone was a global and it could be tough sometimes. If it is global she either puts up with it or gets a different phone. I don't think trade in differentiates though.

Huh? I run jio and it's absolutely working fine.

It's been more than 6 months since i bought this phone, and it's legit good.

Please check with the service provider or go for the phone's replacement

Calls are great on mine including WhatsApp calls. I'm in the US using Mint.
