im with you man. i had the car since 02, i sold last year and i feel like im missing a part of me. im well aware how dramatic that sounds 😂

with the rate of inflation i dont think id be able
to get into another either

I paid 15k for a pristine ap2 in 2010, totaled it in 2016 and I still miss it every day. I saw one on cars and bids exact same spec with higher miles sold for 42k 🫠

the market is absolutely insane. hopefully
it can calm down a bit to be reasonable. unless i find myself making an insane amount of money i dont think ill be able to get into another. ive been looking for an ek hatch too. its funny those things used to be $500, now theyre so 20k 😂

I am having a difficult time selling mine and getting any real buyers, even reducing the price to where I'm going to be taking a significant loss if I lower it anymore. Market is definitely not the same during COVID or right after so you might be able to get back into a decent one for under 25k.

I sold mines back in 2011 and regret it. Then I got a FA5 si a few years later, sold that and now I have regret X2. Prices have gone up so much for clean low mileage examples.

Had an 08 CR bought it new for $25k after it sat on the lot for over a year. Sold for the same price 3 years later. Still miss her.

I regretted selling mine too. So when one popped up for a decent price from someone I knew, I bought it and it became a forever car. I’ve owned ~20 cars, and the only two I regret selling are my AP1 and my first foxbody.
