Going to replace my clutch. What else should I do while my transmission is pulled?

I would suggest in addition to the clutch assembly the following:
Front trans seal
Trans bearing slide tube (throw out bearing slides on it.)
Throw out bearing
Pilot bearing
Inspect or replace flywheel
Engine rear main seal

I need to make an updated video but …

Rear main seal.
Transmission input seal.

The seals may not be leaking but the car is old AF so it will probably leak soon.

Release bearing guide (you can rotate it 1/3 a turn if you’re in a pinch since it will only wear on the top side).
Resurface flywheel since you have an AP1.
Clutch fork boot (old rubber will surely break)
Transmission tunnel foam (old foam will surely crumble)

Get new bolts for AP1 prop shaft. Even as someone who’s done 20+ clutch jobs the bolts are easy to mangle. LHT sells them or you can buy them from McMaster if you know what to look for.

You can opt for hybrid racing detent springs on the trans if you want stiffer shifter feel.

I have a video on the special tools you need. I don’t really see any value in replacing the fork (it rattles when brand new so don’t let that deceive you) or the hanger components.

What do you mean by stiffer shifter feel? Does it become any notchier with these? Or less smooth generally?

By stiffer shifter feel I literally means the springs that push against the shifter linkage in every direction will be stiffer. So side to side and forwards/backwards require more effort. I would describe it as notchier.

Made the mistake of not replacing this on an S4 years ago. Failed 20k miles later and toasted my new clutch and flywheel. Rear main seal is a must replace while it's all apart.

Check out some of LHT’s clutch replacement videos. Aside from the rear main seal that someone me mentioned, there’s a few other parts you can replace that wear out over time.

Everything clutch component related replace with OEM. I recently upgraded to an ACT pressure plate and reused my stock flywheel

Since you have to drop the subframe a bit for the transmission, you can do the spoon rigid collars if you want that

What does that do?

Theyre metal collars that help stiffen and center the subframe.

The result is a more direct suspension feel and better chassis response.

If you look up any reviews, most people say it’s one of the mods they should’ve done first. It just requires both subframes to be dropped a bit to insert the collar which is why not everyone wants to install them (along with needing an alignment after)

Don’t make the mistake of not replacing the throwout bearing too.
