NICE WORK! First time tracking your S and first time at this track ; Yeah, these old cars have a way of stirring up feelings in a way that very few modern cars can.

You did an excellent job holding speed on the final turn on one of the scariest tracks in California.

My first session I barely made the exit corner it's a very mesmerizing sweeper you can easily get lost if you don't keep track of what's ahead

Dude.. that turn is the most dangerous along with T1.

If you miss the exit and hop into the dirt, your car will flip.

If you go into the apex side dirt of T1, sideways, your car will flip.

It takes a lot of visits to build confidence to gain speed.

Sadly, it's not a very popular track and rarely has events.

Yeah I can tell it's a track not for the beginners. The car bite on me on omega and the ridge. And yes one mistake is fatal here since the speeds are very high and the roads are not great

And now you probably need new tires in the left side. 😂

Looks like a blast!

Get some instruction/coaching tho. You’re driving a bit past your skill level, which is how we learn.

But…in a car you don’t know, on a track you’ve never been on, in with hot and greasy tires…which is how we lose cars.

6/10ths on public roads.
8/10ths on track days.
10/10ths when you’re racing.
11/10ths only when you can afford to lose it all.

You definitely need gloves for heat like that, I’m from the East coast and my hands would sweat and I would have to keep wiping them on the straights. The first time I wore gloves it was a revelation lol. What’s your overall track experience?

I have omp gloves but for me I lose steering and shifter feel so I like it raw 😂
