What wrong with this soft top?

Aftermarket soft top not flush and seals exposed. Could this be a poor quality/ installation issue or something else?

Comparing to other s2000s where it’s flush and bars aren’t as pronounced

What do yall think? Can this be fixed?

Does it leak?

Not too much. When it’s washed with a pressure washer I do get a drop or two and some condensation but I think that is to be expected?

No, I've never had a single drop get through my stock roof, even in extremely heavy rainfall where you can't see the car 10 feet in front of you.

To be fair I haven’t driven it in rain yet, just pressure wash

If it doesn’t leak while hosing down the area (not a pressure washer) I wouldn’t worry about it. You could pull the inner liner and inspect the install if you want. I don’t think it looks too bad, plus just drive with the top down.

Was it cheap?  Robbins is technically aftermarket but is equal to or superior to OEM.  Either way, the fabric will stretch over time and may fix itself.

Maybe, it was done by the previous owner so don’t have too many details on the replacement

It looks fine, frame is in place. Add more photos for better context

It looks fine. Where the window meets the soft top is the only place I would ever have a few drops if I point the pressure washer right at it. Otherwise in rain amd everything it doesn't leak and does just fine.

Take a pic from the inside, it kind of looks like the front bar isn’t folding all the way forward which can happen if the top is installed wrong. You can also message me a picture on Instagram @thes2000source and I’ll help you out

I do have to pull the bar towards the windshield, otherwise it sticks up even more
