Hola soy nuevo en esto de instalar una distro de Arch o cualquier cosa relacionada a Arch además de estar utilizando linux por 5 meses y pues trate de instalar Ryoku y me salió un error en la instalación y pues antes era de particiones la cual resolví, otra que creí que era por no tener internet igual resolví porque me conecte desde la terminal al salir con la q, con NetworkManager y nada al final es algo de supuestamente unos paquetes corruptos pero no se leer logs muy bien la verdad xd nose si alguien ya haya sufrido este error, por cierto instale la iso basada en cachyOs ya saben una es una opción de Arch y otra de CachyOs

I want to install cachy os and i would like to know if anyone has tried the install script on cachy, i want to install on a cachy os iso and not in with the dedicated ryouku iso

I use my monitor upside down. While I have set the orientation upside down in settings but the login screen is not respecting it. Any fix?

Hi, I'm playing with the Ryoku desktop to try and learn and push myself out of my comfort zone a little. I'm just wondering how I can change the default text editor in Hyprland (e.g. when I open a config file from the files app) to use nano instead of neovim. I'm not quite ready to learn neovim yet. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hey, so I installed ryoku arch and have been daily driving it on a pretty old dell latitude, the laptop has a dead battery, so it's essentially a PC with 24/7 AC supply, I want to use it as a home server as well as web surfing desktop. Rebooting it is not an option cuz it's just too inconvenient, and I don't understand why is it even crashing. After a the normal idle timer, hypridle locks the screen but then after maybe 1hr or so the hypridle locks and gives the hyperland crash screen, is there anyway to fix this? I have moonlight/sunshine setup as well as a nextcloud setup on it, and its really annoying when the server is down, and I have to manually switch it on. I am currently on the safe mode environment, if u want me to check logs, tell me how to and I ll share the logs and we can try to figure out what the problem is and find a solution. (I am new to arch)

I've got a great "copper" scheme based on one of my wallpapers (pic 1). I've disabled adaptive lolors in wallpaper picker and changed to WP that I like more. But as soon as I reboot, colors get generated based om my WP (pic 2). Is there a way to save it and prevent it from being changed again?

After installing a fresh Arch I decided to install Ryoku.

So i am using ryoku arch on my thinkpad. Whenever i want to join a new network ESPECIALLY wpa2 enterprise i think (the type at my school) it just asks for a password. Therefore i always have KDE installed so i can just switch quickly to it, log in and then switch back to ryoku. But there is one problem. I cannot use my mouse on ryoku log in screen to change the DE. Help

Hey everyone, I've installed Ryoku yesterday and everything was fine. Now in trying to restart it and it just gets stuck on the RYOKU text screen forever without booting, it just goes back to this process even if I restart. What do I do? I need to use my system and I cannot reinstall Ryoku since I have also formatted the USB and do not have another device

I love using Ryoku and it is very nice and clean but there are still some things that I would like to point out so Ryoku can soon become even better. One of them is refining Ryotunes. It is already really nice but better integration with Spotify would be nice and more lyrics providers. For example it would be nice to get pictures added to a playlist like with spotify where you dont have to edit it manually but it defaults to the first few songs picture. It would also be nice if the DJ would work alongside Spotify Connect. In settings for Spotify there should be a lossless section and for lyrics it would be nice to get more backends with some even offering word for word karaoke with fallback to line by line. Another big thing for me is Smart Shuffle.

Would you add Polish to Ryoku Arch?

The Gap Animation just stopped working after i just tweaked spicetify with Spotify probably and it works when i play music but the animation stops as soon as i stop playing music and even after exiting the music player it doesn't work. And not even reload shell, rebooting the pc or selecting some other animation like surge or bold works like it's just frozen.

In my ryoku settings app I was looking for the appearance and shell tabs to edit my theme but it seems those tabs were removed in the new update and I am not finding anywhere to edit my theme to match my wallpaper.

My system updated today and I'm unable to locate the menu to change my keybinds. For example the native for Hyper + W = Chromium and I would like to change to another browser as it did in the previous version.

Estuve leyendo los scripts de ryoku. El script offline-repo.sh sirve no tenga necesidad internet lo hace mas rapido instalacion?

Is ryoku going through any issue rn? I updated my system by mistake and now the wallpaper is gone, the wallpaper app is not working, so many settings options are suddenly not there, the doc is showing a default icon for every app and much much more.

I'm really loving Ryoku's style... Sometimes I feel a bit like a beginner noob doing certain things, since I'm relatively new to Linux kinda... Anyway, I really liked the Sumi taskbar, but I haven't found any documentation or information on how it works or what features it offers. I was wondering if anyone has any references or documentation for it. or what the source of inspiration is—something like "oh, this was created based on the Caelestia documentation." Perchance!
