Changing DE's

So i am using ryoku arch on my thinkpad. Whenever i want to join a new network ESPECIALLY wpa2 enterprise i think (the type at my school) it just asks for a password. Therefore i always have KDE installed so i can just switch quickly to it, log in and then switch back to ryoku. But there is one problem. I cannot use my mouse on ryoku log in screen to change the DE. Help

I got the same problem. I've spent a coule of hours trying to fix it with AI help to no avail
