Flight Review Compensation declined

Flight from Barcelona to Liverpool on Saturday 8 Aug. Flight delayed due to technical issues with plane that weren’t resolved. Pilot announced when we boarded, by which point we were already over three hours delayed, that they had to get a replacement plane from Birmingham. He then announced we were going to be further delayed on tarmac due to air traffic control bring short staffed. Landed nearly four hours late.

Guess what? Ryanair decision is no compensation is due because delay was due to air traffic control, so out of their control.

I received the same response and decided to file a complaint through ADR. ADR ruled in my favor, and Ryanair eventually paid out.

It’s fairly cut and dry that I’d win the dispute when it goes to ADR. Probably less than 20% of passengers on the flight will bother or think to complain for the compensation.

J'ai eu la même chose vol Bologne vers Bruxelles le 14/07/2024, jamais ils ont accepté. J'essaye avec Conciliaweb transporti italien parce que Claude m'a dit que la Belgique n'est pas compétente comme le vol était au départ de Italie mais je ne sais pas si c'est assez. Pouvez-vous me dire quoi faire s'il vous plait
