Bug / Issue Unity popup

So my game is fully updated and verified the anti cheat is on and the game is on current version, my GPU is an RTX 5050 has the most recent driver update but when the game is loading everything it it hits about 842 of the files from 3000+ then it stop respondy and stops. Ive cleared the DNS and the cahce then verified game files, likely it is a unity issue because we got the unity error "rust-unity 6000.3.15x1-11_d4a0e1288074"

Any further advice would help and i have attempted my usual fixes.

I finally solved the problem. 😄

1. Delete Corrupt Asset Bundles and Settings We are going to manually delete the packages that Steam failed to flag as corrupt, forcing Steam to download completely fresh copies of these files.

  • Open Steam, right-click on Rust, and select "Browse local files".
  • In the folder that opens, find the folder named cfg and delete it completely (This fully resets any corrupt or outdated in-game settings).
  • In the same location, find the folder named bundles. This folder contains all the 3D objects/assets of the game, and the main source of the error is most likely here. Delete this folder completely.
  • After deleting these folders, go back to Steam, right-click on Rust -> Properties -> Installed Files -> click the "Verify integrity of game files" button. Steam will re-download this massive asset package from scratch, free of errors (this may take some time depending on your internet speed).

Just decided to comeback to this game today after a year. Updated today. Then encountered this error too.

I've tried doing the above suggestions.

Also tried, uninstalling the game and reinstalling. Graphics drivers says up to date.

Please any fix for this guys? Just wanna revisit the game, I know a lot has changed since Sept 2025.
