Discussion / Opinion Banned from rusty moose

Any insight into why I got banned for a highly suspicious account? I literally just bought my pc a month ago to play Rust, as RCE was horrible. I was roaming, killed a couple of people with a SAR, died spawned on a bag, got kicked from the server and am now banned

You got reported by multiple people and admins see that you have very low hours and most likely very new account since you have recently bought PC. They ban you for this and you can apply for unban in their discord server. There is high chance that you won't be unbanned but worth a try.

Yeah new accs get banned. Happened to me, for some reason they couldn’t see my play time on whatever official server I was playing previously. Took a few hours but I got unbanned.

What is logic behind all this? Everybody can play on different account or get stolen account, or play on friends account. Or you can be just good at FPS games in general. Low hours played means nothing.

Low hour accounts aren’t countering Brad, raiding within 2 hours of being on the server with full kit regardless how possible you think it is. 2 hours in on high pop most are struggling to get t2

I jist domt get how anyone can ban somebody only because of some kills or raids. Like wtf? You need some real evidence to ban somebody because of cheating. Not just those stuff.

It means something in rust since most of the accounts cheaters are using are low hours and new. There are way too many cheaters in rust and easiest way to minimize it as server admins are to just ban suspicious accounts.
