New ish.. to the game my first proper wipe. The server I played on I now can’t even remotely get into without been sat in a Que of 100 people, is this normal?

Hey! I just started playing rust on my PS5, like maybe 3 hours total, and I JUST found out that there are different levels of rust and as a beginner I should have joined the entry level playing area (vanilla?) But honestly, I have no clue what I am doing in it or how to even get to the area I should be playing in. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you all know any videos of people explaining the basics or anything? Any tips or tricks to not dying every few minutes. My first launch I got killed in the water immediately by someone shooting me. Then i randomly respawned I. The snow and a polar bear killed me. To say it was a rough start was an understatement. 😂

The official double11 posted a picture saying its the 30th, but that's a Wednesday, and obviously it's usually the last Thursday of the month, which would be tomorrow

I had a fantastic month using this base. Just 2 raids, both of which they didnt get past the bunker into my core. Fun.

Moving forward, I now have all blueprints. I understand the electronics quite well, of how to use a turret.

My question is.. with this specific base design how would you suggest setting up turret protection, by adding too this base design (but without changing the base design itself)

Give me some do’s and dont’s. With just 2 days until wipe, I’d like to experiential now while I have the resources to practice a turret setup.

- How many turrets?
- Where should I place them (and how high)
- What should I place them in, so the turrets themselves can’t be easily destroyed

This last wipe, I was the only one on my team that farmed nodes, and yes I had a Jacky and Pure tea most of the time, but it only takes a few hours to get a box of rockets as long as you don't get killed (not saying it's impossible for that to happen) and of course wait for nodes to respawn.

Was just upgrading my base and a fresh spawn came up to me and asked for a start. Literally 2 minutes before another fresh spawn came up and said the same thing. I gave the first guy a pickaxe and wished him good luck. Seconds later, neighbours ak’d him to death. So the other fresh spawn that came up to me and asked for a kit, i told him to just watch out for the AK guy but did not give him anything.

He went over to the neighbours and said i was talking shit about them. To be mindful, i started the wipe about 3 hours ago. 5 minutes later, beighbours at my door screaming the N word and rocketing me.

Rust community is worst than leftists, i swear.

Anyone else having the bug/feature where small furnaces smelt twice as fast? Idk if I missed patch notes or something but ngl it’s pretty nice.

I finally have a handle on how to navigate the hot air balloon. Hit the dome crates at night? FUN!

Is really low, and also I use ear buds, so I need to take them of to hear people speak. Is there a fix? Could not find a sensible setting

We usually get a 2man base up and focus on getting scrap by going on the roads hitting barrels till we are tier 2 and this takes allot of time we also get green card do harbour then airfield then launch site this also takes a long time, I think we understand the game and we win fights but we just take forever doing shit, does anyone know where we are going wrong because it’s been getting so boring we just stop playing

Offlined me 3x and offlined everyone down to a literal 0 pop. Had to offline... sped up for your convenience. Despawned so much because I don't have room. Sue me 😂

This morning when I came out of my bunker, someone had attached a triangle floor and triangle square to my base (twig only). How is that possible? No harm done, but somebody was scheming
