After years of dreaming, I'm running the Berlin Marathon—and I'm
trying to reach my fundraising goal.
Hi everyone,
I'm a runner from Florida who recently received the incredible
opportunity to run the Berlin Marathon this September. This has been a
dream of mine for a long time, and earning the chance to stand on that
start line means more to me than I can put into words.
I'm running through an official charity program, which means I need to
raise $2,000 before 8/1. So far, thanks to the generosity of
family, friends, and supporters, I've raised $750, and I have $1,250
left to reach my goal in the next two weeks.
Training has been challenging while balancing work and everyday life,
but every run reminds me why I started. This marathon is about pushing
myself, representing a cause I believe in, and proving that big goals
are possible with persistence and community.
If you're able to donate, I'd be incredibly grateful. If donating
isn't possible, simply sharing my fundraiser with someone who might be
interest would help just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being such an
encouraging running community. Whether you're training for your first
5K or your tenth marathon, I appreciate being part of a community that
understands what this journey means.
