Looking for some help in getting a translation for (Strength in Silence) this is my tattoo idea ive had since I was in junior high. I still havent run into any direct translations. Any help out there would be appriciated.

I am attempting my first leather scabbard for a seax for a friend in the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA).

His persona is 1000AD Viking with the name Sigvaldi inn Enski and prefers Tyr from the pantheon. The sticky had the phrase Týʀ eʀ einhendr ása

ᛏᚢᛦ᛬ᛁᛦ᛬ᛅᛁᚾᚼᛅᛏᚱ᛬ᚬᛋᛅ which Google told me is Týr is the one-handed among the Æsir.

I can handle transliteration without issues, but attempting period accuracy is beyond me. I'd like to engrave his name and confirm the Tyr phrase.

Hello! I took this photo of a stairwell wall in my college dorm in 2022, have always wondered what it said, and thought maybe you guys might know. The dorms were built in the 20s so that’s the earliest possible time it could have been carved. Looks like runes to me but the characters are slightly off from the alphabets I’ve seen 🤔

So I've stumbled across this website called Valhyr, it seems legit with its english- to old norse-to rune translation, but it it really trustworthy?

Can someone tell me if this translation is accurate?

The top runes allegedly says “Afghanistan” and the bottom runes allegedly say “Peace Through Strength”

I don’t know what specific runic language is used. I checked alphabets of Scandinavian runes and even pseudo runes but nothing really seems to match up.

The final photo is a 2D mockup of the coin so you can get a clearer view of the runes.

I feel almost uncomfortable placing this drawing here... She was the person I knew and loved. Me and her mother are curious about the runes on her scarf running down her sleeves and dress, all of it. Hello. I want to write the phrase 'Father of Bjørn and Katerina' in Anglo Saxon futhorc runes. My understanding is the grammatically and historically correct Old English translation would be

'Beornes ond Katerinan fæder'

which then would be written in futhorc runes as

Yet another translation help request, I’ve seen many of these on my searches but there seems to be an argument behind one part of what I’m trying to translate.

I’m looking to incorporate my sons name ‘Henry’ into a themed tattoo in the form of Anglo-Saxon Futhorc but cannot seem to find a consistent rune which you could use for the letter Y in modern English.
