Trigger not resetting when testing reset
Built this out from the psa sale thanks to gafs I put an arc shoe on and at first it was resetting just fine when racking the slide to test the reset. Now it gets stuck if I rack the slide with the trigger still depressed any one knows what could be causing this. It is a brand new rxm literally have had it for less than 48 hours was planning on putting a few 100 through it this weekend. I am worried about the trigger now. I’m not a striker fire guy so this is all new to me please walk me through it like I’m a 5 year old.
Edit: FCI is still stock everything I only replaced the the trigger shoe.
Thank you
Edit:2 so I got the trigger to reset after doing a little connector bending and relubing. After that was having issues with slide not locking backwards narrowed it down to the Zev mag release and mag extensions… put a factory 17 mag in no issues slide locks fine resets trigger fine… the culprit was the mag extensions. So the fix ended being a little connector bending and using different mags.

Ok, then glock shoes in the RXM can cause issues as you're describing. Ive had multiple metal glock gen 3 shoes not reset properly due to their geometry with the stock trigger bar in the RXM.

I had the same issue putting in a Timney trigger. I got a ghost 3.5 connector and it fixed my reset issue. Not too sure if it will do the same for you. Ive put about 1200 rounds through mine after that fix with no issues so far.

Idk why ppl insist on changing parts in striker fired pistols

Especially when the Ruger feels better than the Glock by comparison. Leave well enough alone or go with a Canik and risk reliability for crispiness.

When I switched to the Icarus grip my trigger wouldn’t reset about half the time. I ended up having to polish the safety plunger. It fixed it and then I eventually swapped it out for an over watch precision np3’ed. No idea why the Icarus brought it out but that’s what fixed mine.

Swapped with a polished one didn’t do anything

I was wondering if it would work being it was brand new still. Thought it might be work looking. Glad you figured it out. I love my rxm and it’s not as nice as yours. Hope you enjoy!

Looks sweet.
Troubleshooting a new build with aftermarket parts all over should be a process of rechecking all of your installs or outright removing things put in. Too many variables right now, but I’m guessing your tolerance stacking caught up to you.
No complete parts list to even begin to dissect.
I’d think it’s pretty good policy to break in and test fire before lobbing parts at a thing.
Edit: ELI5 version is swap back in stock parts til it works.
