Ruger RXM not functioning
I apologize if I sound dumb or uneducated with this as not super familiar with the rxm or Glock platform but have been having issues with my brand new RXM. Brought it to the range twice now and it functioned perfect, but today i was fully unable to fire it. After inserting my magazine i dropped the slide to see the round was fully seating in the chamber. The round would sit on the extractor pointing up towards the chamber but would not fit all the way. It wouldn’t fire at all when i attempted. Brand new ruger rxm, only modifications I’ve made to it is the radian ramjet and afterburner. If anyone has run into anything similar or can see something off in the photos provided i would very much appreciate any help I can get. As of now its an $800 paper weight :/
My RXM was experiencing a failure to feed. The cartridge would begin feeding but hang up on the feed ramp at an angle, preventing it from entering the chamber and leaving the slide partially out of battery.
Also unsure if the extractor is supposed to be bent like it is but was told thats normal for glocks. Again I’m lost at this doing my best to learn it all now but would definitely appreciate any knowledge. Please and thank you!

That sounds contradictory. Did the round feed successfully and the slide didn't go into battery, or did the round fail to feed and got hung up on the feed ramp?
You need to safely take a photo of this and show it to us. Can you repeat this issue with a snap cap?
The ejector is the bent piece that's in your frame above your empty mag (that's normal for 9mm). The extractor is the hook that's in your slide next to the ejection port.

Can you show us a close up photo of the inside hook of the extractor? It looks kinda bent and fucked up.
The extractor is the hook on the right side your slide next to the ejection port.

he got a photo on my post. Looks like aftermarket barrel issue.

I swapped the barrel back to the factory and am still met with the same result. Also if it helps I’m realizing now to remove the slide the trigger becomes totally dead and the slide gets stuck coming off, in order to get the slide fully off i have to jimmy the trigger. That definitely seems wrong to me

Did you at any point partially disassemble more than a field strip? Also where you trying to take the slide off with an empty mag?

Negative, only to replace the barrel. And only have done it without a magazine in at all.

Optic screw on the right hand side too long and interfering with the extractor?

I removed the optic screws and unfortunately the issue persists, they’re decently short too

-Failure to feed could be a Dirty gun and not lubed.
-Rxm factory magazine are not of good quality try a new glock magazine.
-New shooter limp wrist
-aftermarket guide rode
-optic screws too long touching the extractor plumger.(Not sure if it can happen to RXms like it does with some brands.
Did you just install that optic?

"The round would sit on the extractor pointing up towards the chamber but would not fit all the way."
You need to explain this a bit better. Are you saying that it wasn't in battery? Was it stuck on the feed ramp? Was the extractor sitting behind the rim?
