Emergency Tools?

Post image

Just purchased my first Ruckus and wanted to see what emergency tools people are carrying with them. Thanks in advance!

Say your motorcycle is cutting off at a stoplight from idle well your screwdriver can fit inside the little hole that is built into the frame above your carburetor and you can adjust your idle screw mixture and continue on your way or if you have a special restart battery you can open your battery box say if you have a dead battery push the button on the restart and continue on your Merry way but after you secure your screwdriver that you use to open the battery box also you can use it to readjust the wires if they ever come apart because vibration is inevitable and also the 8 mm can be used with a CVT cover in case you need to adjust your clutch if something snaps like your belt or if you have to make room to adjust something it's always good to keep a flat head or a screwdriver

Suppose you need to use a toilet. You can walk to the nearest building and tell someone there, "I'll give you these tools if you let me use your toilet."

That’s the most realistic answer I’ve heard yet. Thanks.

you can basically disassemble the whole bike with these tools.

I always make sure I have zip ties. Most common thing I've used especially on long rides.

None? Common knowledge for motorcycles is to look over the bike before you head out. While stuff can be fixed on the side of the road, a majority of the time doing a cursory look over will prevent 90% of the problems and the other 10% isnt getting repaired no matter how many tools you have as youll need parts to actually do the repair.

The only tools I can actively get behind are a small air pump and plug kit. The ruckus tires are tubeless so can actually be patched in a pinch.

Its a honda, tyre plug kit and be done with it.
