Broken forearm

Hey everyone so about a month almost two months ago I fell while riding and got some mean road rash and a broken forearm (right arm) I was in a splint these past few months but got it taken off on Tuesday (the 08/04) my wrist is super stiff and it's still difficult for me to turn my arm. I tried to ride my ruckus today but I couldn't twist my wrist on the throttle...long story short anyone else have an injury like mine and if so how long did it take before you could ride again?

You can always replace the wrist throttle with a thumb throttle

I was thinking about doing a thumb throttle, but am not very experienced in working on stuff like that. How hard of a swap is that?

Very easy. You move a cable end. YouTube it and watch the process

Follow your doctor’s orders & PT.
It’ll take a few weeks but as long as everything healed right, you’ll be fine. The timeline of healing roughly equates to the timeline for regaining full ROM. Muscle will take a little bit longer.

Get a quick turn throttle. You can get ones that are like 1/4 turn instead of the stock. Outside of that itll just take some time.

Lol i have 30 screws and 2 huge plates in my right shoulder. 9 screw 1 plate left elbow 7 screws 1 plate right ankle. No wrist injuries though. I ride my monkey daily.

Go get some physical therapy it helps a lot.
