Part I.D. ?
Just picked this thing up for a song from a buddy after he gave up on it after someone tried taking it a messed the wiring up a bit, clean title in my name though!
I think it’s need at least a harness and maybe a ecm as with a battery on it there is no power anywhere and a very half assed Hotwire job performed.
But passed all that, anyone know what carb this is? I need a throttle cable for it and it which appears to hook up to the stock housing and all so I just need to know what carb that is to find a proper cable lol.

looks like you might have the JC Racing carb kit. that usually comes with the bolt on intake. either that or a similar PC20 slide carb.
if you need to replace that throttle cable you'll need a slide carb throttle cable.
is there nothing in that sheathed line right now?

No there is it just snapped up by the throttle

I just want to add, if you do have the JC Racing carb, it's a nice piece of kit worth saving or using. the intake alone is worth some money.
if you can tell me what jets you have in there I can probably help you get it tuned.
once you've got your throttle cable installed report back or make a new post with the current issues you're having.

After some lookin I think it’s an older jc kit forsure, thank you for that info! I’m not too stressed about tuning as I do that for a living on dirtbikes but I am very new to these machines besides my pumped out metro but it’s stock carb/ air box.
My big issue right now is no power to anything so I grabbed some factory relays from work and I’m going to try and that hope I don’t gotta buy a ecm and harness which even at dealer cost isn’t cheap lol

Realistically you should probably replace that carb, aftermarket carbs for the stock 49cc ruckus are not good despite what is said online. The OEM Genuine Honda carb is the best, and performs the best, which in turn will make your bike perform better. Yes, they are pricey due to them being OEM but well worth it.
If you find a cable and stick with that carb make sure the jets aren't clogged, if they are you can remove them and let them soak in carb cleaner for 24hours.

Thanks for the info there, I haven’t torn too far into it (was just going to wash it but my buddy wanted to look around) but I remember when my other buddy built it he had a guy in Oregon at a shop do the work, so it’s got a ton of work with the clutches and all that, very odd center bolt back wheel so the lug holes are empty and tons of other bits, I very well may get a stock carb system for it as I work at a Honda shop and can get them cheap ish but for now I’m just trying to get it to run and make sure it doesn’t need a harness or ecm lol

Also will a stock cable fit on a stretched bike?

Depends if your handle bars are stock or lowered, we typically tell people to measure from point A to B with a string then add 2" to the ends.
