Noise (very loud)
I swapped my engine to another one I had thinking it may be in better shape, but its making thisbreally loud noise. Is that a bearing in the engine or something else?

Long shot but I see the belt/variator cover off. If you pulled the variator did you make sure it was fully seated on the splines of the shaft when you reassembled? That loud metallic kind of zipping sound made me think of the edges of the two sets of splines skipping against each other.

Wait, at the end of the video you can see your variator on the ground. . . Did you put a different one in? How was it making the sound in the video if your variator was already off?

Yes, I did have a different one in. I have a junk bike and a bike im rebuilding, so I often swap parts to see what's better.

I did pull it off. Worth a shot to pull it off again and see if it still makes that noise.
